This position is eligible for part-time/full-time remote work (including virtual office arrangement). Must reside in the State of Arizona.

Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

Job Summary:

The Information Services Division (ISD) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Systems/Network Supervisor. Under the general guidance of the Chief Information Security Officer, this position will be responsible to develop and implement large projects that impact all levels of AHCCCS employees. The position will be responsible for the team that performs installation, troubleshooting, and technical support activities for AHCCCS’s applications. Maintenance, patching, and security reviews also fall under this team.

All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona, unless an exception is properly authorized in advance. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Direct the design, development, and implementation of medium to large projects that impact the operations of AHCCCS and various other agencies.

* Direct subordinates in hitting deadlines and keeping track of overall project timelines

* Assist in the formulation and establishment of agencies automation practices

* Creates and promotes a productive work environment, ensuring that necessary skills and competencies are in place to meet the goals of the team

* Evaluate and monitor application and systems performance, making recommendations in writing that would enhance them

* Assist in the establishment of policies and procedures

* May provide technical guidance to employees, colleagues and/or customers

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

* Broad and generally deep understanding of all facets of management and leadership, as well as a vision for the specific business program/function being managed

* Thorough working knowledge of most infrastructure technologies and in-house developed applications utilized in the enterprise

* Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

* Demonstrated ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks

* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in teams and across organizations

* Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organization

* Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate needs and priorities of both internal and external customers

Qualifications:

Minimum:
* Bachelor’s degree with 3 or more years of experience in IT or related field; or
* 5 years experience managing an IT team

Preferred:
* 10+ years of experience in systems development, project management, computer operations, communication networks, database administration, and/or technical services

* 7+ years of experience in managing a medium to large network structure

* 5+ years in vendor management and/or work with a government agency

Pre-Employment Requirements:

* Successfully complete the Electronic Employment Eligibility Verification Program (E-Verify), applicable to all newly hired State employees.
* Successfully pass fingerprint background check, prior employment verifications and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the above-mentioned process and the agency’s ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
* Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record for the last 39 months including no DUI, suspension or revocations and less than 8 points on your license. If an Out of State Driver License was held within the last 39 months, a copy of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required prior to driving for State Business. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
