Job Summary:

The Office of the Director (OOD) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Targeted Investment Statistical Liaison. This position will focus on data collection, tabulation, analysis in addition to serving as a liaison with internal and external quality metrics experts and statisticians to support the Targeted Investments (TI) program and related AHCCCS initiatives. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Provide general support to the Targeted Investments (TI) Program Administrator, Manager and other divisions’ staff engaged in the Targeted Investments Program design and implementation activities, with a focus on data management and analysis.
* Act as a liaison between AHCCCS programmatic staff and university statisticians in support of outcome analysis.
* Lead tabulation, analysis, and discussion of TI participant’s performance measures, attestations, and document review.
* Lead the management of the TI participant database, including updates and validation.
* Assist and support with the implementation of incentive payment process and provider enrollment.
* Support interface with AHCCCS data management resources and lead Cognos-report generation and results analysis.
* Assist with administration and coordination of TI participant engagement activities including newsletter, web page updates, FAQs, milestone education/guidance, and other public facing communication.
* Other duties assigned that are related to the position.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
* Health care delivery system and healthcare quality measure stewards
* AHCCCS Data Warehouse or claims & encounter data elements
* Statistical methods
* Analytical terminology
* Health care terminology.
* Google, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other comparable software program.

Arizona Drivers License

* 6 years experience in health-related data project management, health care administration, or public administration; or
- Master's degree with statistics-focus in a public policy, health informatics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field; or
- Bachelor's degree with statistics-focus in public policy, health informatics, epidemiology, biostatistics, or related field & 6+ months related experience in health-related data project management, health care administration, or public administration; or
- Associates degree with significant interest in statistics & 3 years related experience in health-related data project management, health care administration, or public administration

CPHQ certification or similar. Experience with healthcare quality metrics.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

* Travel may be required for State business. Employees who drive on state business must complete any required driver training (see Arizona Administrative Code R2-10-207.12.) AND have an acceptable driving record for the last 39 months including no DUI, suspension or revocations and less than 8 points on your license. If an Out of State Driver License was held within the last 39 months, a copy of your MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) is required prior to driving for State Business. Employees may be required to use their own transportation as well as maintaining valid motor vehicle insurance and current Arizona vehicle registration; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
