JOB SUMMARY:

The Division of Fee for Service Management (DFSM) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Business Operations Specialist. This position is responsible for providing senior level support for the Care Management System Unit (CMSU) and for managing multiple projects within the unit. Provides administrative support to the leadership and staff in the Clinical Operations Unit. Assists the Division of Fee for Service Management Business Partner for clinical operations, completed and performs complex projects and reports as assigned. Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Provides senior level of in the Clinical Operations units and to clinical staff within the unit. Manages calendars for the Deputy Assistant Director of Clinical Ops.

* Provides administrative support to the business partner for the Care Management Systems Unit including but not limited to the creation of requisitions in the Talent system, addition of the position on the recruitment pool, assisting the hiring manager with resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview packets.

* Develops and maintains reports that reflect CMSU metrics including workload, performance measures and productivity, and track report requests submitted to the DFSM Research and Data Analyst.

* Coordinates extended services dialysis patient groups regarding certification of medical necessity, eligibility status, tracking and updating services, etc..

* Conducts research and compile data regarding grievances and interface with Medical Directors, as needed, track and manage appeals submitted to Care Management Systems Unit coordinating with the unit’s leadership as needed.

* Processes issue notice of actions related to service authorization decisions and research/coordinate prior authorizations submitted for consideration.

* Manages mailed prior authorization documents and coordinates mailed dental authorizations and referrals to the Dental Program Director, respond to internal/external requests for information related to CMSU processes.

* Maintains CMSU Policies and Procedures for effective work flow within the unit. Conduct research and manage special projects as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):

* Knowledge of principles and practices of administration.

* Knowledge of MS Office Suite & Visio or Google Suites

* Skill in planning, organization, time management, ability to prioritize projects and tasks.

* Skill in oral and written communication skills

* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, while keeping stakeholders informed.

* Ability to learn HRIS and Talent Acquisition systems.


SELECTIVE PREFERENCE(S):

* 2 to 3 years senior level administrative experience.

* Excellent computer skills.
