Salary: $64,000- $71,000

Grade: 23

Job Summary:

The Division of Health Care Management (DHCM) is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Special Projects Advisor. This position will be responsible for projects of considerable difficulty such as conducting special and administrative studies; developing cooperative work relationships with stakeholders, developing clear, concise, and thorough work plans, statistical analysis of data, conduct service system research by applying appropriate methods to identify critical areas to improve outcomes for Medicaid members and Integrated Care systems. This position will report and disseminate findings that support program planning and decision making, development of data collection strategies and develop initiatives and programs to enhance integrated behavioral health and physical health care management and monitoring.

Job Duties:

Major duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Completes critical analysis of issues and programs, evaluating factors affecting services and implementing proposals and plans for system improvements.

* Conduct/participate in behavioral health program and project evaluation.

* Supports and participates in other quality and utilization management activities.

* Analyze behavioral health data, including other related databases.

* Write reports and protocols.

* Conduct literature search related to analytical methods, data presentation methods, data presentation methods and other topics as requested.

* Advise Integrated Care Administrator on data-related issues.

* Staff Instruction.

* Present data analysis, survey results and program evaluation.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

* Knowledge of the understanding of the purpose, goals and philosophy regarding Child and Family Teams/Adult Recovery Teams/Person Centered Planning.

* Adult and Children’s System of Care, Medicaid Policy and managed care systems.

* Clinical knowledge of evidence based practices regarding integrated behavioral/physical health services and needs.

* Written and verbal communication.

* Contract compliance evaluation, Policy development, Mediation and Facilitation.

* Provide policy level collaboration among the partnering agencies.

* Conduct research regarding state of the art integrated healthcare services and systems of care.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years experience in systems of care.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Masters degree with Clinical experience or licensure as a Behavioral Health Professional
